We are pleased to announce that Dr. Mirza Imran Shahzad has recently joined the editorial board of PSM Biological Research Journal (ISSN 2517-9586) as Editor-in-Chief.

Dr. Mirza Imran Shahzad, chairman Department of Biochemistry has done his BSc from the University of Punjab and MSc from PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. For research, Dr. Mirza has worked for 2 years at the virology lab, Animal Health Division, NARC. He has worked at NIBGE, Faisalabad for one year during the start of his Ph.D. Later he worked at the biotechnology Lab at PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi under the supervision of Dr. Azra Khanum for 5 years. Dr. Mirza Mirza shifted to UC Davis, California USA in 2008 and worked there for 2 years. Since 2010, Dr. Mirza is serving at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur at various positions and currently working as chairman of the Department of Biochemistry. He is a reviewer of different journals and lifetime member of many societies. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Preventive, Diagnostic, and Treatment Strategies in Medicine. Dr. Mirza has won many national research grants.

International Journal of New Medicine (IJNM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, international journal that publishes research on all aspects of medicine and allied sciences. The journal welcomes the submission of original manuscripts (Please see Plagiarism Policy) that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence.

IJNM follows a continuous publication model. This means that as soon as an article is ready to be published, it will be immediately released online.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Hassan Mohammed Hassan Ibrahim has recently joined the editorial board of PSM Biological Research Journal (ISSN 2517-9586) as Section Editor-in-Chief.

Dr. Hassan has completed his master’s in botany (plant taxonomy) and Ph.D. in botany (plant taxonomy and flora) from Sana’a University, Yemen. He completed his doctoral research on the flora of Jabal An-Nabi Shu’ayb, Bani Matar District, Sana’a Governorate, Republic of Yemen, and its phytogeographical affinities. He is a life member of the Yemeni Biological Society. He has presented and published several research papers in national and international conferences and journals. His research interests include a wide range of plant taxonomy, with a special interest in flora research.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Wajid Rashid has recently joined the editorial board of PSM Biological Research Journal (ISSN 2517-9586) as Section Editor-in-Chief.

Dr. Wajid Rashid has completed his M.Phil in Environmental Sciences from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan, and after registering for Ph.D. from the School of Environment, Beijing Normal University, Beijing, (China), he completed his doctoral research on human-wildlife conflict in the Pamir region of northern Pakistan.
He is a member of the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP), which is a worldwide network to enhance the science, policy, and practice of ecosystem services for conservation and sustainable development. He is also a member of the Snow Leopard Network (SLN) which is a worldwide organization dedicated to facilitating the exchange of information and insights between individuals around the world for the purpose of snow leopard conservation. He has published more than 30 research papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include wide areas of conservation, and natural resources management, with a special interest in wildlife management-related research, biological conservation, and sustainable development in the Asian region. He is an emerging scientist and is currently running different projects in northern Pakistan. He has been working in the Department of Environmental and Conservation Sciences at the University of Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan) for the last 10 years.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Venkataramana Kandi has recently joined the editorial board of PSM Microbiology Journal (ISSN 2518-3834) as Editor-in-Chief.

Dr. Venkataramana Kandi has done his Masters in Medical Microbiology from Manipal University in India, and after registering for Ph.D. from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India, he completed his doctoral research on HIV disease management in the highly active antiretroviral therapy era. He has also been awarded a Ph.D. by publication (ASU-America). Elected as a member (MAMS) of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) for the year 2017. He is a life member of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM) (LM 1919) and the Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI) (AMI/LM465/2013). He is also a member of the Asian Council for Science Editors (ASCE). He has presented and published nearly 200 research papers in national and international conferences and journals. He has to his credit more than 2,200 citations. His research interests include wide areas of medical microbiology with a special interest in HIV research, antimicrobials, and infections prevalent in the rural population. He is on the editorial board of more than 25 international journals and is an invited reviewer for prestigious journals like Emerging Infectious Diseases (CDC journal) (2008, 2009).

Dr. Amer Ragheb Abdel Aziz is Associate Professor and Head of Parasitology at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Souhag University, Egypt. He has nearly 17 years of experience in research and teaching in the field of Parasitology and its applications. Dr. Amer Ragheb started serving as the Demonstrator of parasitology, Parasitology Dept., Fac. Med., Assiut University, Egypt, since Dec. 2005. He holds a Ph.D. in Parasitology from Sadat City University, Egypt. His areas of research are Biotechnology of parasites, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, and Parasitology.
